[SOLVED] Windows Update breaks my UEFI?

I've been successfully  dual booting windows and arch with systemd for about 5years,  until today, when I've got the boot error message:

arch linux blocked by security policy   

and then the machine boots into windows...

I assume this is some efi shenanigans, 

Windows 8,  acer aspire...

Any tips on a fix?  I tried forcing the boot to use my systemd efi, but that  ended up with the error that it  couldn't find vmlinuz...

Sounds like secure boot got turned back on

Yep,  You're correct,   fixed with a bit of bios finagling to turn it back off, thanks!
