pamac 6.2.3-1 hangs on checking inter-dependencies

Hey, all!

Several of us are running into an issue where pamac hangs when trying to install anything right after it prompts for authentication. It appears stuck on checking inter-dependencies. If you kill pamac, it leaves behind /var/lib/pacman/db.lck and pacman/yaourt won't function until this file is manually deleted.

I first saw it on my MacBook, but then a friend mentioned he was having it. Then another friend came across the issue. I am able to reproduce the issue on a clean install in a VM.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Archers!

Awesome! Thanks for the reply! I'll downgrade it and see if that helps.

It's a weird issue. I have 9 systems running Arch. Only new installs are having the issues. My systems that have been running for months or years have upgraded to the same version, but aren't having the problem.
