videolan client w/ -disable-nls. why?

hello,

i pine for a localization support of videolan client (vlc) package. it is however impossible when compiled w/ -disable-nls. i tried to contact the package maintainer (mrs or ms hay) unfortunately the message seems to not reach the recipient.

can this be fixed somehow?

Yeah - it's quite a while since Ms Hay has been around these parts. According to the vlc package page, you're looking for Tobias Kieslich, but I'd actually recommend you submit it as a feature request on the bug tracker.
