Bug in Kernel 2.6.17 affecting Speedtouch usb modems

Just to let people know:

There is a bug in the kernel 2.6.17 affecting speedtouch modems. Internet connection is cut when large files are downloaded. See the below links:

Hopefully this is fixed soon and the fix is included in Arch's kernel packages.

You might want to submit a bug report. Most devs don't read the forums regularly.
