I am running Arch with everything up to date. I have been able to setup kernel Hibernation on machine. It works fine. I can hibernate and restore perfectly well. However, the option menu for Hibernation only appears in Cinamon IF my browsers are closed. If I have Chromium or Firefox open then Hibernate will not be in the menu when i click shutdown. If close the browsers it appears. Also, if I have other apps open like Terminator or Emacs Hibernate remains in the Cinnamon menu.
I am unusre how to continue debugging this. I am using a Swapfile. I was thinking maybe my memory used grows to large with a broswer open for the file? I was under the impression the file is supposed to grow dynmically though.
