[SOLVED] lftp 'fd' failed at ../systemd-stable/src/basic/socket-util.c

Hi everybody!

Trying to download one file with

lftp -e 'pget -n 5 -c http://file.doc;quit'

and get

Assertion 'fd' failed at ../systemd-stable/src/basic/socket-util.c:1011, function getpeergroups(). Aborting.

The same command was working before the last updates 5 days ago.

How to solve it?

They say:

Additional comments about closing:  systemd 237.0-3

I upgraded 'systemd' but get the same result. What am I missing?

You upgraded systemd...to what? Did you update your entire system at the same time?

Edit: Did you also either reexec systemd or reboot your system?

Rebooted but still not working.

Edit: Another 'Syu' a few minutes ago fixed the problem.

You fetched some systemd 237.31-1 from somewhere and are now (at best) installing 237.0-2 which apparently still has teh bug ...

Same identical `lftp` issue, solved with a clean `pacman -Syu`
