[SOLVED] Copying to PRIMARY when running sudo vim

I see that when I run in urxvt in VirtualBox Arch guest

 sudo vim text.txt

and select a line with the mouse, it does not get copied to PRIMARY.

Doing the same without sudo copies to PRIMARY.

Is this expected behaviour?

Re: [SOLVED] Copying to PRIMARY when running sudo vim

use sudoedit instead, then vim will be run as your user with your vim config, and with full access to your clipboard etc.
