[SOLVED] VirtualBox not connecting USB pendrive.

Hi there!

I'm on Arch KDE environment, just installed Virtual Box

[`@arch ~]$ sudo pacman -Qs virtualbox
local/virtualbox-bin 5.2.6-1
Oracle VM VirtualBox Binary Edition (Oracle branded non-OSE version)

with the extension installed.

USB freshly formatted with fat32 on Arch.

mounted/unmounted on host doesn't seem to make a difference.

Sudo virtualbox doesn't seem to make a difference.

I've added my username on vbox conf file as some search results on this forum has suggested, but they were dated back to 2013 and 2015 so it might have changed. I did anyway... (I suspect that didnt' do anything because the file was empty.)

I also added my username to vbox group? though I'm not entirely certain I did it correctly.

I'm not sure what else I can do.

Please help!

THank you!

Hello, koreankiwitea. I see the thread is marked as SOLVED. It would not be a bad idea to edit you post or put a comment below how you actually found a workaround. On first glance to me it seems like a permission issue, might be wrong.
Cheers!
