Hi
I am trying to install arch on a low spec laptop (Asus X453MA). The latest iso hangs on the first USB boot. I set the kernel parameter 'loglevel=7' as i saw on another thread to help debug the issue. The boot seems to hang after the following lines:
Triggering uevents...
...
...
ACPI: bus type USB registered
usbcore: registered new interface driver usbfs
usbcore: registered new interface driver hub
usbcore: registered new device driver usb
and then my whole system stops, my RGBs on my keyboard dont even light up.
The only way to reboot is by pressing and holding the power key.
The system is some intel dual core (not too sure) with intel integrated graphics.
Any help would be appreciated as I can manage to boot debian based distros on this machine but not arch ( what will i do without my fave distro

Hello, overclockedllama and welcome to the community. Can you say how did you make the bootable usb? As well I believe it would be useful to post the whole output of what the screen is spitting out when it hangs/fails.
Cheers!
