Hi all, I install clear Arch first time and have this issue...
When i use live-iso - wifi works well with
wifi-menu
After installing (with dialog , iw , wpa_supplicant depencies) base system and reloading to it - wifi dont work.
Wifi-menu see my network, but write "CONNECTING FAILED"
ip link
says that wlp2s0 is down.
ip link set wlp2s0 up
did not change the state of wlp2s0
When i try to check my device and drivers with this command:
lspci
the system stuck with messages:
NMI watchdog: Watchdog detected hard LOCKUP on cpu 1
INFO: rcu_preempt detected stalls on CPU/tasks:

repeating it much time and after about 10 minutes:

I can't speculate on what Mr.E really intended, but I doubt the wireless hardware is relevant. Despite the title, this thread is no longer about a wireless issue: that is working, and the OP just took it in a different direction.
OP, this should be marked as SOLVED, and you should open a new thread for your new issue. The watchdog lockups seem to come from a variety of causes, but issues with nvidia drivers seem to be among them. So in your new thread you may want to start with more details of your hardware and drivers (e.g. nvidia) that you are using and whether you've tried any alternative graphics driver(s).
