hi all,

i try to install the postfix-mysql pkg, but i get this error:

# pacman -S postfix-mysql

:: postfix-mysql-2.2.10-1: is up to date.  Upgrade anyway? [Y/n]
Targets: postfix-mysql-2.2.10-1

Total Package Size:   3.6 MB

Proceed with upgrade? [Y/n]
checking package integrity... done.
loading package data... done.
checking for file conflicts... done.
upgrading postfix-mysql...
done.
newaliases: error while loading shared libraries: libdb-4.3.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Re: newaliases vs libdb-4.3.so

postfix-mysql needs to be rebuilt against the newest db package.
Use abs to do so.
Please file a bug report.

Re: newaliases vs libdb-4.3.so

I gave a short explanation here: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=23032
You'll need to search for the postfix-mysql directory in /var/abs/.

For the bug report: http://bugs.archlinux.org/
You'll need to create yourself an account if you haven't done so yet.

Re: newaliases vs libdb-4.3.so

so...what i must to do is:

pacman -S postfix-mysql
abs
#create a new pkg with abs

is this correct?
