order of daemons

My daemon list in rc.conf looks like this:

syslog-ng network netfs crond gpm samba ntpd dbus avahi-daemon alsa

I know I'm going to add hal and cups to it and I probably should be running avahi-dnsconfd but is there any particular order to how daemins should be loaded?

I know it probably doesn't matter where alsa goes, but do any of these daemons depend on any other's being started first?

Thanks

Re: order of daemons

Anything network-related (netfs, samba, ntpd) needs to go after network, so you're OK there, and hal will have to go after dbus.

Re: order of daemons

So this will work:

syslog-ng network netfs crond gpm samba ntpd dbus hal avahi-dnsconfd avahi-daemon alsa

Thanks
