bluefish [FXx]

greetz!

i installed bluefish via pacman along with it's dependencies:
aspell
orbit
libbonobo
gconf
gnome-vfs

if i wanna start bluefish from xterm, i get the following error message:

"error while loading shared libraries: libgnomevfs-2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

tried "pacman -S libgnomevfs" but there's no such package.
i did Syu 2 days ago.
i dont have libgnome installed (it's not a dependency)

maybe someone can help me sorting out this problem before i submit a bugreport.

thanks in advance for any help!

Re: bluefish [FXx]

gnome-vfs is a package.  You should probably report that one.

Re: bluefish [FXx]

before you report that bug try installing gnome-common if you do not have it. then log out then in. if that works then file a bug that bluefish should include gnome-common.

Re: bluefish [FXx]

Hey, I had the same problem

I just did this (as stated in a different thread):

add /opt/gnome/lib to /etc/ld.so.conf     then ran   ldconfig

and everything was fine after that

*note - i didnt install gnome-common, just whatever came with  pacman -S bluefish
