Hello all,
Recently I decided to give Fluxbox a try. However I noticed that the Chinese characters in the title bars would be displayed as square boxes. (Such as the titlebar of Firefox when I was visiting Chinese websites). This phenomenal also happens to the built-in task bar. I've downloaded the Chinese fonts (wqy-zenhei), and apps like Firefox can render Chinese webpages with no problem. This also wasn't an issue with Openbox (all the Chinese titlebars rendered properly). I didn't find any information about this in the Arch wiki page about Fluxbox.
Any idea on how can I fix this?
Thanks in advance!

Did you configure your theme to use this font (or any one containing "Chinese characters", I assume the cjk range? - try dejavu)
Fluxbox does not resolve characters from fallback fonts, https://sourceforge.net/p/fluxbox/feature-requests/210/ & https://sourceforge.net/p/fluxbox/bugs/1066/

You have to edit ~/.fluxbox/overlay and find a window.font setting that works
window.font: Bitstream Cyberbit:pixelsize=14
I think you can set multiple fonts through font1|font2|font3
(edit: but unfortunately that only seems to load font2 if font1 couldn't be loaded at all. it won't use characters from more than one font, so you have to use a single font that has all the characters you want to see)
Fluxbox hasn't been updated in ... 3 years? Eventually I guess I'll have to find another WM as well.

Thanks for the help!
I installed the "wqy-zenhei" package and
window.font: WenQuanYi Zen Hei-10
worked!
