Trying to get two monitors each on separate card to work

Everything I've tried has resulted in dual blank screens on boot except
Below is my xorg.conf, it works somewhat

This allows me to boot into plasma with my main monitor working and the second on the second card comes on but when I move my mouse to it it becomes an x.  no wallpaper, no right-click, can't drag windows to

Any way to fix?  Can't seem to figure out.   Was hoping for something more like twinview

Have you tried assigning separate xscreens for each monitor, via nvidia-settings?  i.e. X screen 0 for one monitor, X screen 1 for the other.  I have to do this for my setup (5 monitors, 2xGTX980(3 screen surround) & 1 GTX 760 (other two monitors.
