My machine freezes during boot when arch Linux is starting. I'll post a screenshot of the error later. Just thought I would mention so no one bricks there machine and has to live CD and downgrade to systemd 237 like I did.

At the very least, it is worth mentioning that systemd 238 is still in [testing]. Moving to the Testing category.
Beyond that, more information is definitely required if you're hoping for help in solving this issue.
All the best,

I have not experienced any issues with the new systemd version in testing. My wireless interface has a different name now with 238. This naturally caused my network service (netctl-auto) to no longer function with the old configuration files. I simply had to change the configuration files with the new interface name, as well as change the service itself to use the new interface name.
Assuming you also have a change of interface name and have a network service starting on boot, you may simply need to update this with the new interface name.

The issue systemd 238-2 address should only affect linux kernels using a none standard scheduler like MuQSS that linux-zen uses but you did not indicate you were using anything other than the linux package.
Edit:
To clarify MUQSS conflicts with CONFIG_CGROUP_CPUACCT it is valid to disable CONFIG_CGROUP_CPUACCT however the linux, linux-lts and linux-hardened packages all have it enabled.
So the issue should only be present on linux-zen or a custom kernel.

I do use the zen kernel. I have added a link to my signature to my Steam profile, which includes all my specs and software needed to help debugging things for next time.
Yeah, that is not helpful. Someone has to guess that the link will take them to a page that includes information that you should have included in your post?
If you are using [testing], the assumption is that you will have enough of a clue to provide meaningful debugging information...

In most of my posts on Github, I state that my system information is in my Steam profile, which is linked in my Github page. I will state the same here, as in for example, my system information is linked in my Steam profile, which is found in my forum signature. I have no issue doing this.

Of course. You are special. Rather than expect you to follow the community's Code of Conduct, we'll make an excpetion for you and we'll visit some other webpage to try and understand exactly what your problem is.

# edit: turns out Mr SpecialNeeds is stupid enough to link to a profile that has already had two accounts banned. Quelle surprise.
