[Solved] SSH as if command was entered locally

I am running a windows 10 virtual machine with GPU passthrough and the looking-glass KVMFR program to allow a low latency windows desktop to coexist with my arch install.
Is there a way to send commands to arch from the windows VM as if they were typed locally in a terminal emulator on arch?
In searching, I've seen a lot of methods for forwarding X11 windows from a remote server to the windows client, but I would like to enter a command from the windows client that opens the window on the "remote server" desktop as if it were just typed locally.
Is this possible?

Then you just don't do the X11 forwarding.  You'll just need to specify the DISPLAY variable.
