chess in and arch

Hi

I am triyng to install gnuchess in my box, is ok, but the terminal interface is very ugly, i need a graphical interface:

pacman -Ss chess
extra/achessclock 0.9.2b-3
    Angus' Chess Clock
extra/eboard 0.9.5-2
A chess interface to ICS and chess engines
extra/glchess 0.9.5-1
    3D Chess Frontend
extra/gnuchess 5.07-2
Lets most modern computers play a full game of chess
extra/xboard 4.2.7-2
XBoard is a graphical user interfaces for chess

the eboard glchess and xboard dont run, many erros and i beginning to search in google for a new option...

somebody is plaiying chess versus the machine in arch?
thanks in advanced

If you use KDE, you might try this:

Re: chess in and arch

knights (kde), or jose (java), or xboard (which runs fine here...) are nice alternatives... and of course the commercial Chessbase/Fritz and clones, which work either via wine emulation, or qemu/parallels/vmware one.
