[Solved] What options do I have for power saving on a laptop?

I just set up my first Arch installation on a Dell XPS laptop with an Intel GPU.  I'm running Budgie for my desktop.  I'd like to try to maximize my battery life, but still keep the ability to run demanding applications at full speed when plugged into an outlet.  Are there any packages that people would recommand to help do this?  I've heard of Powertop, TLP, bumblebee, LMT, fstrim,  etc., but I'm not sure which to use.

Here is what I current have:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Device [8086:5926] (rev 06) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
	Subsystem: Dell Device [1028:075b]
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 133
	Memory at db000000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16M]
	Memory at 90000000 (64-bit, prefetchable) [size=256M]
	I/O ports at f000 [size=64]
[virtual] Expansion ROM at 000c0000 [disabled] [size=128K]
	Capabilities: <access denied>
	Kernel driver in use: i915
	Kernel modules: i915

00:04.0 Signal processing controller [1180]: Intel Corporation Xeon E3-1200 v5/E3-1500 v5/6th Gen Core Processor Thermal Subsystem [8086:1903] (rev 03)
Subsystem: Dell Xeon E3-1200 v5/E3-1500 v5/6th Gen Core Processor Thermal Subsystem [1028:075b]

I ended up using TLP, which works well.
