Can't recompile VMware modules after kernel upgraded

Hi there,

I've installed VMware and it's work great after the fresh install Arch,

but after the kernel upgraded, I can't recompile VMware modules,

I'm trying to recompile by using the command below:

sudo vmware-modconfig --console --install-all

But the result as follow:

It's seem there've a service the system can't stop or start it, how can I fix it?

Did you reboot after the kernel update?

What are the output of uname -a and of pacman -Q linux   (assuming you are using the stock kernel)

Yup, I've reboot when the upgrade was finished and both of the command uname -a and pacman -Q linux are show my kernel version is 4.15.11-1
