[Solved]Unsure how to restore backup with bups.

can anybody walk me through how to use bups?

I have a backup, i think it's called x - x.  If I wanted to restore the x - x, I name it as such.  I then link the folder path of the external, but it keeps saying there is no file 'x - x' in '/'.  Do I need to link some specific file in the path section of bups?  or change the name?  I looked and that is the name of the backup.

Edit:  I was using the gui, but using the cli proved more effective.  I referenced this post.

I should have checked the manpage, it was right there.  But I'm still new to arch and doing things correctly.

add -d switch and then point to whatever destination is relevant, then proceed with restore.

Cheers.
