Mouse lag

Hi,

Sometimes I have a strange but very annoying issue with my bluetooth mouse: the pointer freezes for a short time at random moments. The movements of the mouse are still received so when the pointer moves again, it directly jumps to its final position. This makes using the mouse almost impossible, luckily the touchpad is not affected. The issue started one or two months ago. Only rebooting helps, sometimes.

Anyone has an idea how to fix this?

Re: Mouse lag

This seems to be a driver issue. I'm on a Dell XPS 15 (9550). It has a Broadcom device (BCM43602) which always had issues with Bluetooth. Until now I used the brcmfmac driver. I tried installing broadcom-wl-dkms and using it seems to fix the mouse lag issue but wifi does not work anymore.

Re: Mouse lag

Actually this seems to be some kind of conflict between wifi and bluetooth. Whatever the driver I use, the bluetooth only seems to lag when there is wifi traffic.
