Accidently use pacman -Sy

Dear People,

I'am Accidently use pacman -Sy and package update came with unimportant update such as gnome-desktop etc while i'am using deepin for DE
any suggestion for fix this ?

To elaborate on the above, while `pacman -Sy` is advised against, by itself it is perfectly harmless.  It just sets you up for problems if your next pacman operation isn't a proper update (`pacman -Syu` is a proper update, though after an -Sy a `pacman -Su` would be sufficent to avoid problems).

(edit as noted below.  Not a typo, just an error.)

Small typo I presume, Tribly obviously meant `pacman -Su` -- to only perform the sysupgrade (w/out syncing dbs, since you've already done so)

pacman -Sy is harmless, it just synchronizes the package database, while pacman -Syy forces it.
