[solved]No sound analog headphone, update to kernel 4.15.15-1-ARCH

Hi folks,

today I updated my system to kernel 4.15.15.1 (Linux 4.15.15-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Mar 31 23:59:25 UTC 2018 x86_64 GNU/Linux) and the sound output at my headphone jack stopped working.
Soundcard is a Intel Chipset High Definition Audio Controller (rev 05).
I was watching tv today, after rebooting into the new kernel sound via headphone stopped working.
I saw that some other people also have issues with that, but actually alsactl init/restore/store didn't change anything for me.

So...here are some data, which I hope are useful for solving this issue:

lspci|grep Audio:

Even multiple reboots (->Windows problem?) didn't help.

Funny thing is: I can use theheadphone jack as microphone input: when I tune up the input level, I can see the volume spikes while speaking into the headphones in mate audio control, but switching the profile to analog stereo output or duplex gives me no sound via headphone.

Please help.

P.S.: For excessive information you can find my output of ALSA Information Script v 0.4.64 here

UPDATE: With the current updates jack2 didn't get updated, that seemed to be my problem. I reinstalled jack2, rebooted and everything is fine again. smile
Hope this helps some people.

-> setting subject to solved.
  -> I had to shorten the subject, otherwise [solved] wouldn't fit in...sorry!
