When I start tmux in a terminal (xterm, urxvt), I get the following:
Invalid tty
[phnx@001 ~]$
It is the same for every window or pane I open.
What does 'invalid tty' mean? What can I do about it?

I used 2 of the default configuration files in /usr/share/tmux/: h-boetes.conf and t-williams.conf.

Did you ever figure out what causes this to happen? I've used the same configuration in many Linux distros before but this is the first time I'm seeing it.
