Mouse Stutter

So i just installed arch today with gnome. The thing is that i noticed is that my mouse will stutter every 2 seconds on the dot, and uses a high amount of cpu when i move it.
I have looked at other people problems and it suggested that its my polling rate (which is at 0), but the problem is that i cannot figure out how to change it.
I looked on the wiki and found this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/mouse_polling_rate
I tried adding "options usbhid mousepoll=4" to /etc/modprobe.d/usbhid.conf like it said then using "modprobe -r usbhid && modprobe usbhid" but this doesnt solve the problem

Re: Mouse Stutter

Instead of manipulating the polling rate, first rule out gnome (try the behavior on a naked X11 server or something like openbox) and elaborate on your actual session (wayland or Xorg, xorg log in case)

Edit: also which process exactly loads the CPU when moving the mouse?
