gnome-documents - how to make it handle libreoffice files?

When I select a libreoffice file in gnome-documents, I only get an error message: the type of file 'XML-Document' (application/xml) is not supportetd. What am I supposed to do here?

Do you have this package installed?

I guess, I have, as libreoffice-fresh-de (which I use) depends on libreoffice-fresh.

- edit - yes, I own this package. The file type is fodt - those newer, flat xml files.
