I use propertariary NVIDIA driver, yet I'd want nice resolution in grub menu and in terminal. Unfortunately, when I set proper gfxmode, the highest I can get is 1024x768. That makes sense because this resolution seems to be the highest supported by my EFI video driver. When I was installing the system, I installed legacy bios grub, but later I realized what I did and I replaced it with uefi grub. What came to my notice is that in bios grub I could set my native resolution with no troubles.
I get that it doesn't use EFI driver but different stuff and thus it's possible, but it's kind of ironic that with up-to-date-technology supporting grub I can't get the resolution I could with version for obsolete bios. Isn't there any way to make uefi grub use whatever the bios grub uses for graphics so it would support higher resolutions? And if not, is there a way I could get native resolution later in terminal?

GRUB can only use the resolutions that UEFI provides.
Try disabling CSM (i.e. legacy BIOS booting) in UEFI setup. In pure UEFI mode it should use the display's native resolution.
