Nice collection.  This one intrigues me the most, as you seem to have some padding around the image preview.  Did you do anything special to achieve that?

No, I think that is default in ranger. I barely changed the ranger's configuration.

Arch Linux bootstrap image running in a systemd-nspawn container in a Debian stretch VM (hence the kernel version) under the vmm(4) hypervisor in an OpenBSD-current system:

It's my Russian Doll Arch system

I just hope there's no Novichok anywhere...

Still using the ever faithful FVWM. Lately though I was feeling nostalgic for Compiz + Emerald so I created an FVWM theme that loosely imitates Beryl-Red for Emerald. And here it is, in all its pseudo-transparent glory.

Configuration is on GitHub for those interested.

well, alrighty then.. that went over well.. see, i was hoping that someone would (sarcastically) ask me for my configs and then i had this whole spiel i was going to do, oh never mind (this thread is so dead it needs an enema), debian stable with one backport, numix icons and theme, some conky i found and modified a bit (i'm not done with it, i'm not done with anything), urxvt, firefox, mc, i guess that's about it.. i have google chrome installed in case i ever need it.. pretty boring (kind of like this thread) what happened to the days when there were 30 pages of screenshots?

haha, i saw yours, are you still using the wm that you made? i've been playing with jwm and openbox but i think i prefer a tiler, i'm probably going to go back to one someday..

here's my current wm code.  It's just over 100 lines ... so there's still a lot that could be trimmed away.

@Trilby as soon as i posted that, i thought, no it's tmux kkkkk.. i'm still trying to work my way back up (down?) to arch, i don't think i'm ready for that yet.. it might help if could spell underwear too..

Few modifications on my standard Openbox configuration. I'm very happy with this setup, I don't think I'll need to modify it in the foreseeable future.
