Recently used files / folders with GTK / Firefox

Hello.  I would love an option in the Firefox Quantum save dialog for recently used files/folders.  I seem to remember in the past long ago this used to exist.  Is there a setting or such to re-enable this?

The dialog comes from gtk3, not firefox.

Managing AUR repos The Right Way -- aurpublish (now a standalone tool)

Yes, thank you.  That is why I included gtk in the title.  I probably should have specified gtk3 though.

Anyway in searching it looks like I asked about this before a couple years ago but didn't find a solution.
