AMD GPU not working

Hello,

Basically, this problem is haunting me for weeks on so many distributions. Since I've been openSUSE user for quite a while, then I switched to Debian, I had no issues with GPU whatsoever. I've decided to get back to my Tumbleweed, but AMD R9 380 is no longer working after, on Leap it's working fine with nomodeset in kernel parameters but also installing proprietary drivers was not working.

SO, I've decided to use Arch Linux since It's using almost latest kernel, I know how AUR works, bla bla, but after putting nomodeset in parameters, I get this error:

***ERROR*** VGACON disables AMDGPU kernel modesetting

Been googling, but no luck found. Thanks!

Re: AMD GPU not working

Actually, what helped me, I was just about to edit my post, that adding this parameter to kernel

video=SVIDEO-1:d

I've booted into Arch. So, from there I'll install everything else and make that permanent flag right?
