Locating PPD file for printer installed through CUPS

Long ago downloaded a PPD file when installing a printer. Getting new computer and will install printer again. However cannot find the PPD file.

Could of course locate PPD file on the internet or AUR. However if possible would like to learn how to pull the PPD file from an installed printer.

See if it is in /usr/share/ppd/cupsfilters.

Edit:  Installed PPD's are in /etc/cups/ppd, so you should find it there if you installed the printer with it.

I don't use CUPS, but if you just need to find a file ...

find /usr -name '*.ppd'
