Hello,
I have a UK Dell XPS 15 9560 and I just got started with arch having come from Fedora.
I read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ke … on_in_Xorg and used localectl to set the locale which looks good to me:
➜ ~ localectl status
System Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8
VC Keymap: n/a
X11 Layout: uk
but something is not quite right as the @ symbol is above the 2 instead of being on the right side of the keyboard close to the Enter key.
Am I missing a variant maybe?

Are you sure 'uk' layout is correct? I don't see it listed in localectl list-x11-keymap-layouts output.
'gb' layout works for me with XPS 9360.

See 'man 7 xkeyboard-config' for a comprehensive (?) list of layouts and their human-readable descriptors.
