[SOLVED] Observed kernel panic after saving of vendor logs

Hello,

I've observed kernel panic after gathering results of nvme-cli from SSD. Here is it:

https://pastebin.com/51UNqaqL

https://pastebin.com/JZGeuYhd

The system is:

Linux rediska 4.16.8-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed May 9 11:25:02 UTC 2018 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Could you please give any suggestions how to proceed/avoid this issue?

What commands did you run? Just want to try what output I'll get with mine.

Re: [SOLVED] Observed kernel panic after saving of vendor logs

Thanks for a reply!

Sorry, but this will not be useful as the commands require stuff specific to my environment - SSD which is not available to market and extentions to nvme-cli which are unreleased so far.
I can do gathering logs, trying to compile kernel with kdump support and other things.

Re: [SOLVED] Observed kernel panic after saving of vendor logs

Can you try 4.17-rc5 and see if the issue still exists?

Thank you, I'll try to compile it from source code.

Solved with current update of distro. 4.16.9 is fine
