bacman, xz, and --threads

I was migrating all my AUR packages to a local repository, and noticed that xz was only running on a single thread. I took a quick look at the bacman source, and didn't see any way to pass -threads down.

It looks like bacman already sources makepkg.conf, so I'm wondering if it makes sense to also use the COMPRESS* vars?

Its part of the pacman package and is a utility for recreating a package from pacman database and the system files.

I was going to submit a patch to correct this, but the source doesn't appear to be in the pacman repo (https://projects.archlinux.org/pacman.git). Does anyone know where this code lives?

Pacman v5.0.2 had it in its repo. After that pacman/contrib was split into its own repo but bacman was never added to it.
