[SOLVED] Question about 32bit apps

I see that Arch is getting rid of 32bit app support. What will happen with games and other applications that require 32bit libraries to run. Will those be maintained or are they going away as well.

Thanks!
Joe

Re: [SOLVED] Question about 32bit apps

Did you bother reading the whole announcement?

And it's not "getting rid of", it was done more than 6 months ago.

Where on earth did you see that?

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan

Re: [SOLVED] Question about 32bit apps

Arch has already removed 32bit processor support.  If you have a 32bit CPU, then you cannot run arch linux.  Period.

Arch still supports 32bit programs (I can't bring myself to use the word 'app' in this context) and libraries: they are provided in the [multilib] repo which isn't going away anytime in the foreseeable future.
