How to move custom launcher to bottom of MATE's main menu?

I'm on MATE 1.20.1 and would like a custom launcher (called Power Options in the screenshot) to be at the very bottom of MATE's "Main Menu":

mate-menu.png

I've already tried both mozo (MATE's menu editor) as well as menulibre (DE-agnostic menu editor), but I cannot find Places, System, Lock Screen, Log Out, or Shut Down in the menu editors, so I'm thinking these items are hardwired into the menu and I need to manually edit a file somewhere in order to make my custom launcher show at the bottom. I already looked around /usr/share/mate/desktop-directories/ and found no obvious leads.

Any ideas?

Re: How to move custom launcher to bottom of MATE's main menu?

Thank you, but I already tried that. That launches mozo (MATE's menu editor), which does not show Places, System, Lock Screen, Log Out, or Shut Down anywhere--making it impossible for me to move my launcher down relative to those items.

Re: How to move custom launcher to bottom of MATE's main menu?

You probably mean that those items are under "System" in your menu. Do you see those items under "System" in any menu editor (e.g., mozo)? I don't. Here is a screenshot of mozo:

mozo.png

I think the issue here is these menu items (e.g., Lock Screen, Log Out, and Shut Down) are hardwired, so the menu editors don't show them. Therefore, to move my custom power button so that it sits below these hardwired menu items is going to require a hack.

P.S. This seems like a lot to do about nothing, but I need my not-very-attentive (and not-very-computer-literate) family members to use the custom button exclusively, so I need to put the button where they are used to finding it.

Thanks, ezik. I worked around the problem by recompiling the mate-panel package so that the menu's own power button calls my custom script.
