[Solved]Upgrading to kernel 4.16.11-1 breaks UFW, won't find kernel...

Hello,
After updating the linux kernel to 4.16.11-1 and rebooting, I was dropped into recovery shell. It seems UFW can no longer find the kernel modules nf_conntrack_ftp, nf_nat_ftp, nf_conntrack_netbios_ns and ip_tables.

I downgraded the kernel back to 4.16.9-1 and I can boot normally now, but how do I fix this?

Works for me. Your /boot was unmounted during the upgrade, therefore modules were not available (for more than just ufw).

Okay,
I just tried upgrading again and made sure /boot was mounted... and it worked.
How did you figure that out from the journal log? I just double checked there was nothing in the pacman.log either:

You reported 4.16.11 as broken, but the modules were being sourced from 4.16.9
