I have a lenovo yoag 2 11e and when I type reboot in terminal, it stops all services and drops to a dark black screen and I am forced to manually force shut down and then press power button to reboot.
I updated the syslinux.cfg file to acpi=force reboot=acpi after APPEND, but this only fixes the problem when I am not in a gnome shell, ie i must be in the terminal directly after arch linux loads, only then does reboot actually reboot the system without a manual power down and manual power up. If I do startx and go into gnome, and go to xterm and type reboot, it will not work.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts or questions.

I am, sadly, having the same issue on my Yoga 11e. I can confirm the problem. I have to hold the power button to halt and start again. Did you ever find a solution to this? Also, did you get your touchpad working? Which driver did you use? My touchscreen is working, but touchpad doesn't work at all.
