Hello call,
Been trying to setup a bridge interface in virt-manager for a while, and it keeps erroring out.
I've followed the wiki for installing and configuring kvm, qemu and dependencies. Creating and running the VM is working fine, just trying to create a bridge, and I get this error:
Error creating interface: 'Could not define interface: internal error: could not get interface XML description: unspecified error - aug_save failed on /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-br1: mk_augtemp (No such file or directory)'
I checked my system and I don't have a /etc/sysconfig directory. From my internet searching I found a post saying that virt-manager was written for distros with that directory structure and mentioned Redhat/fedora and Ubuntu/Debian.
Is there a way to get this to work with Arch?
My end goal is to use KVM and create a virtual environment to test some firewall distros (opnsense, pfsense, ipcop) before I deploy them.
Any ideas?

Finally, when a solution is found, mark your thread as solved by editing the first post and prepending the tag [SOLVED] to the title in the "Subject" field.
Note that you should avoid using [CLOSED], which is instead used by the system to mark a thread which is no longer accessible for new posts.
