Hello, I see a lot of PKGBUILDS in the AUR skipping the hash check. Is this ok? If upstream doesn't provide one, can't we just generate it with many different downloads and if they are equal use that?
I believe it is nearly impossible for a download to have the same error every time (the only way the hashes would be equal). But I could be wrong, am I?

You use skip when the source entry can't be hashed, such as entries that pull from a vcs.
