Generated Debug Packages Signature

I build a pkg using debug and strip in options resulting in a -debug package.
Is it intended that this package isn't signed?

You built it. You didn't sign it.

Re: Generated Debug Packages Signature

Can you post the full PKGBUILD and makepkg output?

Sign is enabled in makepkg.conf

Re: Generated Debug Packages Signature

Hmm, perhaps there is no separate sig file for the debug package? Have you tried verifying it with the same sig file?

Yes wrong signature.

https://git.archlinux.org/pacman.git/tr … .sh.in#n65
Lists debug packages explicit.

Re: Generated Debug Packages Signature

Hmm, perhaps it's a bug. Feel free to file one.

Re: Generated Debug Packages Signature

The current code helpfully checks to see if debug packages are *disabled* instead of enabled, before trying to generate a signature (and failing because the file does not exist).

https://lists.archlinux.org/pipermail/p … 22616.html should fix this as a side effect.
