Hi guys. For some reason the Global menu does not work with Firefox and LibreOffice on my computer or on my Laptop. The funny thing is that on my wife's laptop, if the global menu works with LibreOffice. We have the same distribution (ArchLinux of course), the same desktop environment (Plasma 5.13).
I deleted all the settings of my personal folder, to launch Plasma as if it were from scratch, and nothing. I have installed all the packages, which I believe, are necessary:
appmenu-gtk-module 0.6.94-1
appmenu-qt4 0.2.6-1
libdbusmenu-qt4 0.9.3 + 16.04.20160218-1
libdbusmenu-qt5 0.9.3 + 16.04.20160218-1
libdbusmenu-glib 16.04.0-2
libdbusmenu-gtk2 16.04.0-2
libdbusmenu-gtk3 16.04.0-2
I suppose that in KDE Neon it works because there is some package patched, but I have no idea. Do you know what could be happening?
Regards

What exactly do you mean by "doesn't work"?

Firefox does not support global menu. For Libreoffice, make sure you're using the GTK3 VCL, not the KDE4 one.

I mean just that, with the rest of the applications the Global Menu is displayed (Inkscape, GIMP, etc ...), except Audacity, LibreOffice and Firefox. I think Audacity does not have support for Global Menu, I do not know.

If Firefox does not support Global Menu, how does it work in KDE Neon?

Because Ubuntu patches Firefox to add support for it. You can install Ubuntu's patched version from AUR https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/firefox-ubuntu/

I thought so. Thanks for the help, by the way, for LibreOffice (which already works for me) we must uncomment in the file: /etc/profile.d/libreoffice-fresh.sh one of the variables:
# export SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN = gtk
# export SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN = gtk3

This is the current patch for the most recent firefox versions. The AUR package is a bit old.
