systemd suspend / resume

hi

first: if i have a login session on the console, resume after a <systemctl suspend> work fine.

but: system does not resume completly, if no login session is active. i would expect the system to show up login screen, as it looks like the system boot freshly.

reproduce situation:
- configure logind.conf triggered suspend after 30min inactivity
   IdleAction=suspend
   IdleActionSec=30min
- boot the system - do not use it
- wait system get suspended
- hit a key on keyboard
- i do hear sound system is waking up. but then it freezes somewhere on the way to show the login-screen it showed before it went suspended.

anyone else stating this behavior?

i did not find any hints in the documentation in order to make the system going the last mile of resuming. do you have a tip?

have fun
george

Re: systemd suspend / resume

Check the logs (and post them here) for what is going on when the resuming fails.
