I am using latest wireshark-qt and I found out that it does not have support for geoip. From the "About Wireshak":
Compiled (64-bit) with Qt 5.10.1, with libpcap, with POSIX capabilities (Linux), with libnl 3, with GLib 2.56.1, with zlib 1.2.11, without SMI, with c-ares 1.14.0, with Lua 5.2.4, with GnuTLS 3.5.18, with Gcrypt 1.8.2, with MIT Kerberos, without MaxMind DB resolver, with nghttp2 1.31.1, with LZ4, without Snappy, with libxml2 2.9.8, with QtMultimedia, without SBC, without SpanDSP, without bcg729.
It seem that the package was not compiled with the geoip support (without MaxMind DB resolver). But when I look to the PKGBUILD of the package (https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/comm … /wireshark) it seem that it should be build with the geoip support (./configure ... --with-geoip).
Is it a problem with the package or should I look for the problem with my system?
