I was trying to get Chrome to stop asking for my gnome-keyring everytime I first launched the browser. I decided to try setting the Login keyring as the default keyring to see if there was anyway to get pam to auto unlock the keyring. That didn't work; so, I set the Default keyring back to the default keyring.
Now, I'm getting asked for the Login keyring, after logging in, and the Default keyring when launching Chrome. (I'm fine with requiring the Default keyring, since there doesn't seem to be a suitable workaround other than just not encrypting the password store) Previously, the Login keyring had had my user password associated with it, and never popped up requesting a password, when I booted into the desktop. How can I return to the old behavior, without setting Login to an empty password?

Post the files and configurations you've adjusted to change this. Login keyrings are usually associated with, and handled by PAM and potentially dependant on the display manager used, work through https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GNOME/Keyring

All of the keyrings are in ~/.local/share/keyrings, but those are all binary files. I could post all of the lightdm pam files. Are there any other files I should post? All I did was switch default keyring in Seahorse, and then switch it back. Also changed some other pam files, but those are all back to their unedited state.

In Seahorse just change the default program key password to nothing (leave blank), then when prompted with Chrome on your next login, just leave the password blank and hit OK. You'll get a confirmation about being unsecure, then just hit ok again and it shouldn't ever ask you for a password again in Chrome.

That's not the issue. I'm fine with having the passwords encrypted. On that end, I would just prefer for it to use a dongle since the computer itself is in a secure location.
But, that's not the issue I'm having currently. My issue is going from the Default Keyring as the default keyring to the Login Keyring as the default keyring, and reverting back caused the Login Keyring to require my password every boot, after Cinnamon comes up. While previously I never had that password prompt when Cinnamon first launches. I'm trying to figure out which Gnome Keyring file I need to roll back to a previous version or delete to return to the previous behavior. (In the past the Login Keyring was encrypted, I know this since there's a file in ~/.local/share/keyrings/ for it from before playing around in Seahorse)
