Hello all,
I have an archlinux host and archlinux VM. I have configured GPU passthrough from the host to the VM. It worked for some time. I decided to reinstall the VM, and now i cannot get it working again. The host is unchanged.
I installed nvidia package at furst, but the card seems not to be supported anymore, and the kernel was not able to initialize it at boot.
I installed nvidia-390xx package, and I have it currently. I have the utulitues, xconfig, drm, and all 390 related stuff.
I installed nauveau for a test, but it was not able to run it too.
I tried with and without /etc/X11/xorg.conf ( generated with nvidia-xconfig )
I tried to wiggle it in the slot, and push it some more, in case there was a bad connection. I tried using HDMI and VGA cables. I tried different cables that I know that they work, so it seems not to be a hardware problem.
I guess it is something small that I am missing :S
