firefox nightly without pulseaudio

Hi,
I have been using "standard" firefox installed via pacman and had no issues using it without pulseaudio.
Now I installed Firefox Nightly and get no sound. On the Nightly-IRC they told me that pulseaudio is a dependency and that firefox working without it is due to packaging in archlinux. Now I'm wondering, how can I build Nightly in order to get it running without pulseaudio?

Thanks in advance.

Re: firefox nightly without pulseaudio

I run [extra]/firefox through the apulse wrapper with great success since june 2017 .
No idea if it will work with firefox nightly though.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Re: firefox nightly without pulseaudio

For apulse, you might have to allow some paths and syscalls in the sandbox whitelist (/dev/snd/ and syscall 16: ioctl)
