Yes, it's a simple question - how do I make it roll? I've tried two different Arch cd's with no luck, neither to make it roll or work. Installing it seems to be a hard nut to crack to. Are there any chances I can download a live-cd to try it before I step into something I might despite? Are there any how-to's out there I can use?
Thank you.
I apologize if there are any threads similar to this and/or threads with the answers I need.

Arch installs a "base" system. It includes no Desktop Enviroment, nor Xorg. You have to install these with pacman. After of which, you can log into root, with no password by defualt and install them:
pacman -S gnome xorg
Will install gnome and xorg.

And if that isn't enough info for you, then you need to give more info to us. It's hard to work out exactly what the problem is from this:

Well, the problems are many. I was hoping to get an easy how-to-guide by asking at this forum. Write down a easy guide to follow, and I can reply with the problems that migh occur during the install prosess. And, I'd also like to try a live-cd with Arch Linux, to see if it falls under my taste. Is it possible to find it?

"Arch Linux is optimized for the i686 processor and will not run on any lower x86 chips (i386,i486,i586). A pentium II processor or higher is required" - Ok, I get it now, if i686 means that Arch Linux is built for 64-bit computers (right or wrong?) I might as well back out now, before trying it. My computer is 32-bit.

No i686 doesn't mean that Arch Linux it's for 64-bit computers. You can install it on your machine, don't worry.

Archie is the live CD. I'm not sure of its current status, but check it out anyway.

Ok, if it's not built for 64-bit computers I might as well give it another try - after I have tried the Archie Live CD (thank you tomk). My prosessor is a Intel Celeron D - 2.8 Ghz, by the way. Will it work?
Edit: Any chances to do a live install, from the Live CD, like I know Mandriva has?
