Re: Suspend fails with Kernel >= 4.17.X

Apparently was fixed in 4.17.10-1-ARCH, doing more tests to confirm it

edit:
Not working. Intermittent bug, it worked in first test.

Re: Suspend fails with Kernel >= 4.17.X

I tested (4.18.5-arch1-1-ARCH) for 2 days, it works perfect for me on Asus Rog G750JH with Nvidia 780M.

Could you guys try?

Re: Suspend fails with Kernel >= 4.17.X

Hasn't worked on this pc since 4.17 (now 4.18.6) but am beginning to wonder if somehow related to Thunar "Deactivate-SEND_MOVED-code-paths.patch" from two years ago? Not sure how to test, but that patch fixed an issue with shutting off the video output when switching computers via kvm switcher, come back to desktop and would have no monitor. The patch iirc re-generates the video output. So what happens since kernel 4.17 is: issue suspend, pc suspends, then soon as the HDMI output turns off, computer resumes from suspend and monitor comes back on, hit suspend or issue systemctl suspend again and the computer suspends all the way. Journal looks like normal suspend both times. Not using Gnome or Nvidia (using Xfce and amdgpu).

EDIT: working in 4.18.7-arch1-1-ARCH smile  will see what 4.18.8 brings
